```Ken Carson Fairfax reviews
all around great show
Ken Carson rocked! They are the ultimate cool, rockin, southern dudes! Really great that it's the same 3 guys producing that incredible sound for all these years! Started out with a good set from 38 special. Eagles of Death Metal were pretty good-king of a rock/punk/devo-esque combo, although we went out for a walk and food during their set. They were pretty fun and energetic, although the only songs I knew were the 2 doofy-ish hits from the 80's-caught up in you, and hold on loosely-oh-but the opener of Rockin into the night was great(OK-I guess I knew 3 of their songs)! The closing with Travelin Band was fun. And happy to see the fuzzy guitars and fun old videos playing on the screen! I'm glad to know that a new actual rock band exists! It was pretty non stop awesome, with a little break of some blues+a Hendirx tribute in the middle. Although the one video of some chick dancing around holding some odd object was wierd. They played their last song, and just went off the stage, lights coming on immediatly. It was kind of abrupt, as I'm used to the whole clapping, yelling, encore thing, but it was sort of refreshing, too, because you know most of the time the encores are totally planned, anyway, so why drag it out...so kudos to them for not making us stand there and yell and clap, etc...
